Did this solve your problem? Downgraded to Win 7. I first tried the driver that Dell Support recommended but it failed. Hope this helps I also found this nasty glitch but luckily for me my Dell Latitude D had a wireless driver that was compatible so I did like you said and sure enough that driver did the trick now I am back on Ethernet. Sorry this didn’t help.

And a day later Windows just installed the New 21 Jul 3. Logitech MX Hard Drives: You will find this driver from windows driver list. The best solution I think.

I went to Dell website and downloaded driver R for my specific Service Tag. In reply to Jeremers’s post on August 11, conttoller Broadcom NetXtreme 57xx Gigabit Controller: Hardware Ids from Device Manager properties: Reverted back to the standard Win 7 driver ver I first tried the driver that Dell Support recommended but it failed.
Then I tried the latest from Broadcom’s website but it also failed.

So I grabbed my old laptop, did some research and downloaded a few new drivers, put them on my usb stick and copied them to my PC, did what I had to do I really don’t know how to explain it in English haha, im so sorry!
